Mr. R.C. Juneja - CEO & Chairman, Mankind Pharma Ltd.
Mr. Juneja, the founder of Mankind Group, is one of the most distinguished business leaders of the country today. He incepted Mankind Pharma in the year 1995 with a mission to serve the society by providing quality life saving drugs at affordable cost.

Under his supervision and expertise, Mankind has flourished from an INR 50 lakhs firm to an INR 1900 crores mammoth in a span of 17 years and is heading towards a turnover of INR 2500 crores.

Mankind is an umbrella for many group companies like DISCOVERY, LIFESTAR, VETKIND, FUTURE and MAGNET, and brands like Unwanted-72, Manforce, Accucheck-Go, Kaloree1, Zenflox, Nuforce, Nurokind etc, and boasts of an R&D centre of its own. It has a strategic tie-up with Roche Diagnostic for the marketing of Accu-Chek Go.

Mr Juneja firmly believes in giving back to the society and hence is devoted to corporate social responsibility. Driven by its commitment towards social welfare & dedicated to the idea of providing family support to orphan children, Mankind has been associated with SOS Children's villages of India to help the underprivileged children live a secured life with natural family environment. It also looks after “Andh Vidyalaya” which educates the blind people with general pattern of the society. Free medicines are distributed to organizations like Navjyoti Foundation (run by Dr. Kiran Bedi) and Helpage India et al whenever there is a requirement.

In his around 40 year – long stint with the pharma industry that commenced in 1974 when he completed his graduation in science and that saw him working with pharma companies like Lupin, Mr Juneja has been accorded with many accolades and awards, the latest jewel being the Business Icon – 2011 (Pharma) Award by Network 18. His passion, determination, strategic thinking, creativity, and confidence continue to motivate the youth of the country.

Mr. B. K. Gupta - Managing Director, Medicamen Biotech Ltd., Bhiwadi.
In 1994, he floated this company as a core promoter and started exporting pharmaceutical formulations to CIS, European and African countries.

With his vast experience with Govt. departments, marketing consultancy exposure and export business knowledge, he developed markets for Medicamen Biotech Ltd. for exports as well as Indian Institutions and contract manufacturing with leading players in India like Ranbaxy Labs Ltd., Menarini Raunaq India Ltd.

Under his management, the company has established another plant in Haridwar tax free zone.

With his dedicated efforts on the export front the Company was awarded “Niryat Shree Awards” for four consecutive years from Government of India, Ministry of Commerce for excellence in exports. He is Vice-President, Indian Drugs Manufacturers Association (IDMA)

The founder member of Confederation of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry. He also plays a vital role in the Pharmaceutical Industry through his leadership in various Pharmaceutical Associations. He is the Ex- Secretary General of Confederation of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry. He has great knowledge of Drugs and Cosmetics Act and other Departments of Excise, Central Excise, State Excise, Labour Department and almost all the Departments of Government which have link to Pharmaceutical Industry. He is known as Think Tank in the field of Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. P. K. Gupta - President, Belco Pharma
Mr. P. K. Gupta was born in a small town of Fazilka in the State of Punjab. He is science graduate and is now settled in Delhi from the last 40 years. As an entrepreneur, he established his own pharmaceuticals manufacturing unit in the name and style of Belco Pharma in the year 1975 in Bahadurgarh, Haryana which is running successfully. Belco Pharma is a 100% export oriented unit manufacturing finished dosage forms of pharmaceuticals for export specializing in injectables having turnover of around Rs. 50 Crore. Products of Belco Pharma are exported to more than 20 countries.

Mr. P. K. Gupta is the founder member of Confederation of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry and is instrumental in consolidating its base in the Northern India. He has been instrumental in bringing grievances of small scale pharma companies and have single handedly contributed in making numerous amendments to the law benefitting to small and medium pharma companies. He is the chief spokesperson and the trouble shooter of the Pharmaceutical Industry SME’s (Small and Medium Enterprises

He is associated with Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., as its Marketing Channel partner for North India as well as a Director in the Joint Venture Company of Aurobindo and B.R. Sikri Associate.

After working for Haryana Government, Central Government, he worked with FACT, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Fertilizers and Chemicals. Thereafter, at SOL Pharmaceuticals Ltd as Vice President, he managed the Regulatory affairs, marketing of bulk drugs, Export to CIS Countries and Joint Project in Vietnam.

Mr. Vinod Kalani – Director, Oasis Test House Ltd.
Has been managing pharmaceutical companies over last 35 years. He started a commercial analytical laboratory – Oasis Test House Limited , Jaipur in 1981, which is one of the leading testing laboratories in northern india ; and in 1995, he started another commercial analytical laboratory – Oasis Test House at Ahmedabad.

Having graduated in Pharmacy (Hons.) from BITS, Pilani in 1977, he has a rare blend of knowledge and experience – combining first hand knowledge with that of controlling and directing the entire gamut of business activities. His excellent track record is a result of his knack of highly motivated team, dedicated to achieve Company’s objectives.

In 1987, Mr. Vinod Kalani promoted a team of EDP and technical personnel and started – Oasis Infotech which developed a world class Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software package – Labmaster / Oasis LIMS ; pioneer in India to bring concept of computerizationof quality assurance activities in pharma industry to a wider front. It is also providing Stability Management System, Change Management System, ERP, SFA etc. software solutions for pharma industry many MNCs and those at USA, UK, Kenya, Ghana, etc.To bridge the gap between industry and academia, Mr. Vinod Kalani has recently established the education and training division.

Has been a quintessential entrepreneur since last 42 years and has been responsible for the growth of Windlass family in various verticals. He has been intimately involved in the foray of the group in pharmaceuticals sector and provided leadership to Windlas Biotech Limited since last its formation in 2001. He is the Managing Director of Windlass Biotech Limited and it has been his drive and dedication which has lead to the conceptualization and erection of the Windlass Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary company of Windlass Biotech Limited and he remains actively involved in important strategic decisions of the all the group companies.

He also plays a vital role in the pharmaceutical industry through his leadership role in various pharmaceutical associations of the sate and the nation. He is the Vice President of Federation of Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs (FOPE) and the President of Uttarakhand Pharmaceutical Alliance, Co- Chairman of Expert Committee (SME) of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Established in 1975 M/s Crystal Pharmaceuticals, Ambala City & in 2005, M/s Systole Remedies Pvt. Ltd., Kala Amb (HP). Both the companies are running successfully under the control of experienced technical expert which are incharge and is responsible to the company for the conduct of business on day to day basis.

Since 1993 onwards till date he is the Founder General Secretary of Haryana Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers Association till date.

In 2001, he was elected as Hon. Secretary of Indian Drug Manufacturers Association under the banner of IDMA (Haryana Board)

National Award Winner of UDYOG PATRA by the Union Minister of Industries , Labour & Employment Sh. Harish Rawat and Central Food Processing Industry Minister Sh. Subodh Kant Sahai on 16th April 2010.

On 31st August 2010 & 2nd September 2011, Hon’ble & Her Highness The President of India Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil conferred National Award for the outstanding Entrepreneur of the year 2009 & for the Quality Products of the year 2010 respectively through the Ministry of MSME.

Mr. B. Sethuraman - Managing Director, Abilash Pharma Pvt Ltd.
Mr. B. Sethuraman was born on 01.08.1950.He has passed out B.Pharm from Madurai medical College in the year 1972 .From 1973 he started working with Pharmaceutical companies as Manufacturing Chemist in Parentral, Tablets, liquid Oral sections.

During 1982 he has started his own Company Abilash Pharma (P) Ltd in Chennai Manufacturing Liquid Orals. Now the company is 30 years old. He is the Managing Director of the company. From 2000-2004 he was the Hon. Secretary of The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association Of Tamilnadu.. During this period he was instrumental in founding The Federation Of south Indian Pharmaceutical Manufactures Association and Confederation Of Indian pharmaceutical Industry(SSI).

He is holding the post of President of PMA,Tamilnadu and also Chairman of FOSIPMA for the past 8 years. From 2010 he has been elected has Secretary General of CIPI.

Mr. R.K Jain – President & CEO , East African (India) Overseas
The President & CEO of M/s East African (India) Overseas is a Pharmacist by Training and Education . He has been associated with Indian Pharmaceutical Industry when the indigenous sector was just budding.

He is completing 43 years of his association with the industry. He was associated with leading multinational companies before he stepped into his own country, He has two units in Dehradun, (WHO GMP Certified) comprising of all most al sections. He is a founder member of CIPI.

Mr. Sudesh Kumar
A science graduate from Agra University having a versatile experience of working in pharmaceuticals sector. Last employment held was of a commercial manager in a reputed pharmaceutical company where in addition to other responsibility was required by the management to coordinate between production and other departments for maximizing the production. Some of his suggestions for streamlining the procedures were accepted by the management and were appreciated by the Chairman of the company in his address to the shareholders.
